About the MCOECN
An Advocate for Educational Technology Supporting Ohio's ITCs

The Management Council of the Ohio Education Computer Network is an Ohio Council of Governments (COG) supporting the efforts of 22 member  Information Technology Centers and large urban associate members.  The mission of the MCOECN centers around four primary goals:
  • To promote the value and benefits of the OECN
  • To be an advocate for continuous improvement
  • To support statewide technology programs and initiatives
  • To promote innovative technologies, partnership arrangements, and cooperative purchasing agreements to help support the technology initiatives of the OECN and Ohio schools.

The OECN is a network of 23 Information Technology Centers (ITCs), which provide vital information processing services and support to over 900 school districts, Educational Service Centers, and community schools and approximately 1.4 million students in the state of Ohio.
